AUSTRALIA 1975 PROOF SET

Australia has been producing proof year sets ever since decimal currency was introduced in 1966. Proof coins are the same as those we see in our change, but are struck with specially prepared machinery on specially prepared blanks - the designs always stand out magnificently. Any of Australia's decimal proof sets dated before 1975 are extremely hard to get, particularly with copper coins that are problem free. The coins in this set are in excellent condition, the original protective foam outers are as you'd expect them to be after nearly 40 years of reasonably careful storage.
