This scarce pre-decimal star note remains in impeccable condition as shown in it's PCGS grading.
If you're one of those collectors that demand natural notes only and insists on your notes being graded conservatively, your job of acquiring assets that will stand the test of time is a challenging one.
This particular note unequivocally fits the bill - it is absolutely crisp and natural. Even if it was a regular R17 (easily the most common Australian ten bob note) it'd be fantastic quality.
The corners and edges are sharp, the simultan colours are vivid, the paper is firm and original.
When we remind ourselves that it's a rarer star replacement note, that quality becomes all the more meaningful.
