PENNY King George V 1925

Obverse: Coronate bust of George V to right legend around

Reverse: Denomination within legend date below

A solid example of Australia's second rarest penny.

The Australian economy was on a roller-coaster ride in the "roaring" 1920's - the mintage figures of Australia's coins during this period reflects that. The 1925 penny is the second rarest in the entire series, and is always keenly sought.

This example has close to a full centre diamond in the band of the King's crown, and slightly less than average wear across all other high points.
