Shillings

The Australian shilling was the third-largest denomination pre-decimal coin produced and was the equivalent of 10 cents in Australian dollars.  Shilling coins were produced between 1910 and 1963 for circulation, with the silver content changing from 92.5% to 50% in 1946.

The large market for pre-decimal coins continues to grow as more new collectors are looking to own a valuable part of Australian history.

We are always buying and selling a wide range of Australian pre-decimal coins, so whether you are starting a new collection or filling the gaps in an existing collection we have the knowledge and know-how to get the job done.
