Lighthouse Supreme Banknote Album - Holds 60 Banknotes in Acid Free Pages
Lighthouse Supreme Banknote Album - Holds 60 Banknotes in Acid Free Pages
This album includes 1 * Vario F Binder and 10 * Vario 3S pages
This is the safest and most secure album you can buy to store banknotes in.
If you have a valuable or important collection of banknotes, you can't do any better than one of these albums.
Lots of the cheaper banknote albums that are available these days are made with PVC, which is a big problem.
PVC deteriorates over time, as it does it releases a sulphuric gas and can react with whatever it is in contact with.
Poor-quality banknote album pages will eventually turn yellow in colour, and can even stick to the banknotes that are put into it.
If you leave a banknote for a long period of time in a PVC page, the white paper will turn yellow, the paper will become sticky and some of the ink will stick to the PVC.
The pages in this album are made from mylar, which is a clear and inert material - this is the acid-free stuff museums use to store paper items in.
There is room to hold 60 banknotes in the album, and you can buy plenty more Vario pages if you need to store even more notes than that.
