Franklin Mint Banknotes of All Nations Boxed Set - 150 Notes
Franklin Mint Boxed Set of Coin Sets of All Nations
This set includes 150 different banknotes from countries around the world.
This set contains 150 different notes issued by individual nations from around the world - the set was unofficially put together by the Franklin Mint, and sold by subscription in the 1970’s and 1980's.
Anyone with a passing interest in numismatics knows that 99% of the products put out by the Franklin Mint are complete and utter junk - occasionally however, they did happen to release a product that has some enduring value.
This cased set of world banknotes is definitely on that list - it includes a large number of notes that are now scarce and in demand with collectors.
Do a brief search on eBay or Google for "Banknotes of All Nations" and you'll see that a large number of the notes in this cased set bring anywhere between $10 and $25 each.
Although this set isn't exactly rare, it does contain an incredible variety of notes from right around the world - perfect for the collector looking to get an "All Nations" set underway, or to share with the kids or grand-kids.
It turns out that the exact number and type of sets that were included in this cased series differs from country to country (the sets that were released in the USA were different to those released in Australia) - the Banknotes of All Nations released in Australia contained 150 different sets of foreign notes, the exact list of countries included in this set is as follows:
